Tour Package Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Cancellation Requests

Customers who wish to cancel their tour package reservation must do so by contacting our customer support team or sending an email to refund@dishaholidays.in. Cancellation requests will only be considered valid when received in writing.

  • The cancellation request should include the booking reference number, the lead Disha Holidays, and the reason for cancellation.

2. Cancellation Charges

  • The following cancellation charges will apply based on the number of days before the tour's scheduled departure date:
  • More than 21 days: 20% of the total tour package cost will be deducted as cancellation charges.
  • 11 to 20 days: 50% of the total tour package cost will be deducted as cancellation charges.
  • 7 to 10 days: 80% of the total tour package cost will be deducted as cancellation charges.
  • Less than 7 days: No refund will be provided.

3. Refund Process

  • Once a valid cancellation request is received, the refund process will be initiated.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after receiving the cancellation request. The refund amount will be credited back to the original payment method used during the booking.
  • In cases where the tour package includes non-refundable components such as permits, entrance fees, or accommodation booked on special terms, the cost of these components will be deducted from the refund amount.

4. No-shows and Late Arrivals

  • No refund will be provided for customers who do not show up for the tour or arrive late.
  • It is the customer's responsibility to arrive at the tour departure point on time. We recommend arriving at least 60 minutes before the scheduled departure.

5. Tour Changes and Cancellations by Us

  • In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a tour package, customers will be notified as soon as possible. A full refund of the tour package cost will be provided.
  • We reserve the right to make changes to tour itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or operational constraints. In such cases, we will provide suitable alternatives or reschedule the tour. If the alternatives are not acceptable to the customer, a refund will be provided as per the policy mentioned above.

6. Special Considerations

  • Customers are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen events that may lead to cancellation or disruption of their travel plans.
  • Refunds are not provided for unused portions of the tour package once the tour has commenced.
