Arrival in Cochin
Arrive in Cochin and check in at your hotel. Spend the day exploring Cochin's attractions such as Fort Kochi, the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, and the Mattancherry Palace. In the evening, visit the vibrant Jew Town and the Paradesi Synagogue. Relax overnight at your hotel in Cochin.
Cochin to Munnar
After breakfast, drive to Munnar (around 4 hours). En route, enjoy the scenic beauty of tea gardens, waterfalls, and misty hills. Check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, exploring the local markets. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Munnar Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring the hill station of Munnar. Visit attractions such as the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, followed by a visit to the Tea Museum to learn about Munnar’s tea plantations. Post lunch, head to Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake for boating and sightseeing. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Munnar.
Munnar to Thekkady
Post breakfast, depart for Thekkady (approximately 3 hours). Check in to your hotel, then head to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for a boat ride on Periyar Lake, where you can spot wildlife like elephants, deer, and various birds. In the evening, enjoy a cultural program such as Kathakali or Kalaripayattu (traditional martial arts). Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Thekkady to Alleppey (Houseboat Stay)
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (around 4 hours). Upon arrival, board a traditional Kerala houseboat and cruise through the serene backwaters, passing lush green paddy fields, small villages, and coconut groves. Enjoy lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay on the houseboat, drifting through the beautiful backwaters of Alleppey.
Alleppey to Kovalam
Disembark from the houseboat in the morning and proceed to Kovalam (approximately 4 hours). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, enjoying Kovalam’s beautiful beaches such as Lighthouse Beach and Hawa Beach. Relax by the seashore and witness the spectacular sunset. Overnight stay in Kovalam.
Kovalam and Kanyakumari Excursion (Optional)
Spend the day exploring Kovalam or opt for a day excursion to Kanyakumari (approximately 2 hours each way). In Kanyakumari, visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, the Thiruvalluvar Statue, and enjoy the view where the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean meet. Return to Kovalam by evening for an overnight stay.
Kovalam to Cochin (Departure)
After breakfast, drive back to Cochin (around 5-6 hours) for your departure. If time permits, you can explore a few more attractions or enjoy some last-minute shopping before your drop-off at the Cochin airport/railway station.
